Makayla Cohol, born and raised in Canfield, Ohio, has been dancing since she could walk—her passion igniting at just 3 years old. With an early focus on hip hop and jazz, she quickly became a standout talent, supported by her parents and instructors who recognized her potential. Now training at Epic Dance Complex under top mentors like Chase Haley Bowden, Gianna Martello, and Jaimie Goodwin, Makayla’s journey has been marked by unwavering determination, overcoming challenges to continue to develop and grow.

Makayla’s dedication to her craft is evident in her relentless pursuit of excellence, devoting over 30 hours a week to training across styles from ballet to ballroom. Her recent achievements include the CLI Conservatory Summer Intensive video shoot with Teddy Forance and assisting at Revel Dance Conventions as a Pro Reveler. As a member of Titans Force and the Prodigy Assistant Crew, she collaborates with renowned artists like Autumn Miller, Jay Jay Dixonbey, Janelle Ginestra, Mark Villaver, Mollee Gray, and Brian Friedman.

Known for her powerful emotional expression, captivating storytelling through movement, and exceptional musicality, Makayla has graced stages from the Cleveland Cavaliers halftime show to the beloved "Miracle On Easy Street" to convention and performance stages. Beyond her dance prowess, her infectious personality and charisma make her a joy to be around. Looking ahead, Makayla aspires to transition from performer to choreographer, aiming to give back to the dance community and inspire the next generation.
